Tenzing Bowl is a beloved Kolkata restaurant celebrated for its bold, joyful fusion of Tibetan and Indian street food. The project involved creating a vibrant social media presence that matched the energy of the brand and made followers hungry every time they opened the feed.
The design system was built to be bold, appetite-forward, and immediately recognizable — a feed experience that felt as lively as eating at the restaurant itself.

Context
In a highly competitive culinary market, an exceptional in-store experience and a loyal local following are no longer enough to sustain long-term growth. Tenzing Bowl possessed both—serving up a bold, flavorful, and inherently joyful menu that resonated with everyone who walked through their doors. However, their digital footprint did not reflect this energy. The brand’s existing social media presence was quiet and lacked a cohesive visual strategy, failing to capture the vibrant atmosphere of the physical restaurant or effectively acquire new customers in a saturated digital feed.
The strategic challenge lay in translating a multi-sensory, high-energy dining experience into a purely visual, digital-first system. The objective was to design a comprehensive social media design framework that could slice through the noise of crowded feeds, evoke an immediate sensory response (hunger and craving), and serve as a reliable engine for customer acquisition—effectively turning Tenzing Bowl’s online presence into a direct, lively extension of its physical storefront.
Approach
The social media design system was built around bold typographic treatments, warm food photography, and a color palette that reflected the restaurant’s lively atmosphere. Each post was designed to stop the scroll and make people hungry.
Content was structured across different post types — menu announcements, offer cards, event promotions, and seasonal specials — all sharing a consistent visual language that made the brand instantly recognizable.
Outcome
The campaign helped Tenzing Bowl build a consistent and vibrant online presence, turning their social feed into a direct extension of the in-store experience. Post engagement increased as the visual identity became more recognizable and scroll-stopping.
